Just a Hop - Story

Jake celebrated his graduation (Software Engineering with a Minor in Physics) by going on a hike to his favorite spot - a small lake in the mountains he liked to backpack to where he could skinny dip and hang out naked without offending anyone's sensibilities. There was nothing like the feeling of a light mountain breeze blowing across bare skin on a nice summer day.

As he was letting the fresh air and sun dry him off after a refreshing swim, he looked up at an alpine meadow a couple miles up the mountainside he'd hiked to a few times and saw movement there. He peered at it, trying to make out what it was when suddenly he was face to face with a Bighorn ram, which appeared to be as shocked as he was. Jake yelped and suddenly was back at his camp wondering what had just happened.
