An Arkturian prince stands in a royal stateroom.  It is roomy for a spaceship cabin, but still only one room, with everything designed to cope with zerogee when needed --- a builtin bed on one side, builtin desk and drawers on the other.  The prince looks roughly human, actually rather handsome, albeit a rather bright shade of yellow.  The ebony black antlers set off the yellow rather nicely.  He is dressed in a grass-green dinner jacket, with dark reddish-brown dress pants.  He scans himself with a handheld device, as a display in the wall shows a news program [[TALKING HEAD]].  The display is silent, but shows the prince at a ball, with a large number of human dignitaries in attendance.  The prince himself has a scantily, but elegantly, beautiful woman on his right, and a matching man on his left.  In the room, he stares at the results of the scan.

Back in high school, I heard what was probably even then an old joke, about the teacher assigning busy work to students: "Write me a story including religion, royalty, sex and mystery", but a crafty student immediately came back with '"My god!" said the princess, "I'm pregnant! I wonder whodunnit?"'

I had an idea to take a simple one page script and document the entire process of making a movie out of it, and thought that would make a good basis to start from, so here's the first step: the script. I'm adding one more element to the mix: science fiction, so that I can include cgi and makeup to the process.
